College of Engineering & Petroleum
For the College of Engineering & Petroleum at Kuwait University, Lamberts LINIT™ channel glass supplied by KAPHS was used extensively across eight buildings — more than 40,000 m² of internal and external glazing.
The selected glass, LINIT®EcoGlass P26/60/7 504 with a translucent L1 coating on the external surfaces, delivers a modern, streamlined envelope. The translucent coating provides a delicate diffusion of light that enhances the buildings’ appearance while reducing glare across this large-scale academic campus.

Available in low-iron and textured finishes with optional solar-control and Low-E coatings, the glass can be installed in single or double-glazed configurations and backlit for a dramatic night-time effect.
As the Middle East partner for premium architectural materials, KAPHS supplies the Lamberts LINIT™ system — channel glass that enables expansive, self-supporting translucent walls with diffused daylight and minimal framing. Sourced through Lamberts, the glass at College of Engineering & Petroleum was engineered to perform in the region’s demanding climate while elevating the building’s identity.
For architects, developers and contractors across the UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC, this project shows how channel glass can transform a landmark scheme — balancing aesthetics, daylight, privacy and durability in equal measure. Every panel was selected, engineered and delivered to exacting tolerances, and backed by KAPHS’s regional expertise the result is a surface that looks exceptional on day one and keeps performing for decades in the Middle East climate. As one of the region’s most recognisable installations of its kind, College of Engineering & Petroleum stands as a benchmark reference for specifiers across the GCC.
