For the Sports Society in Dubai, Lamberts LINIT Channel Glass, supplied by KAPHS, is utilized to enclose the staircase areas, adding both aesthetic and functional value to the facility. The glass type used is 504 P26/60/7 with a Low Emissivity (Low-E) coating.
The Low-E coating further improves energy efficiency by reflecting interior heat back into the building while allowing natural light to pass through, thereby minimizing the need for artificial lighting during the day.
In the context of staircase enclosures, this glass offers a sleek and modern look while maintaining the structural integrity and safety required for such spaces. The use of LINIT Channel Glass also ensures that the staircases are well-lit and visually connected to the surrounding areas, contributing to a sense of openness and continuity within the building’s design.
